Cancellation Policy

Life happens โ€” we understand. This policy is designed to be fair to both students and Teacher Carol, whose time is reserved specifically for your lesson.

24-Hour Notice Required

Please cancel or reschedule your lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations with 24+ hours' notice are free of charge and you will receive a full refund or the session will be returned to your package.

Late Cancellation Fee: 50%

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson price.

Example:

Standard lesson: $30/hr โ†’ Late cancellation fee: $15

This fee compensates Teacher Carol for the reserved time slot that cannot be filled at such short notice.

No-Show Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled lesson without any prior notice, the lesson will be charged in full (100% of the session price). Teacher Carol will wait up to 15 minutes before marking a lesson as a no-show.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Via Contact Form

Go to the Contact page, select "Lesson Cancellation / Rescheduling" and include your booking reference. We'll confirm within a few hours.

Via Dashboard

Log in to your student dashboard, go to My Bookings, and use the cancel or reschedule buttons next to your upcoming lesson.

Rescheduling Policy

Free reschedule: Cancel and rebook with 24+ hours' notice at no charge. Your payment carries over to the new slot.

Late reschedule: Rescheduling within 24 hours is treated as a late cancellation. A 50% fee applies and you'll need to book a new slot at full price.

Package reschedules: Package holders may reschedule freely with 24+ hours' notice. Sessions are never "used up" by a properly rescheduled lesson.

If Teacher Carol Cancels

In the rare event that Teacher Carol must cancel a lesson, you will receive at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. You will be offered:

  • A full reschedule at no extra cost
  • A full refund, or credit to your package
